The first UK-Brazil bilateral workshop called ‘Confronting Urban Violence: Global Interdisciplinary Investigations’ took place on April 2, 2022 at Queen Mary University of London. It brought together contributors spanning researchers, arts practitioners, psychotherapists, film curators, policymakers and military police officers. This event was supported by a British Academy Knowledge Frontiers seed funding grant.
